Maria becomes friends with the children due to their mutual love of music. Even the strict Captain begins to admire Maria, and eventually the two fall in love and are married. Upon returning from their honeymoon they discover that Austria has been invaded by the Nazis, who demand the Captain’s immediate service in their navy. The family’s narrow escape over the mountains to Switzerland on the eve of World War II provides one of the most thrilling and inspirational finales ever presented in the theatre.

Geocaching

In an effort to bring adventure to my childrens lives, I have begun to get involved in geocahing-a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors and then share your experiences online. Geocaching is enjoyed by people from all age groups, with a strong sense of community and support for the environment.

Does anyone have any geocahing stories of their own? I need to go buy a GPS, then I'll let you know how it goes....
